Hi, I'm Lindsey

As a licensed therapist, I specialize in working with anxiety, grief & loss and how trauma impacts individuals and their relationships. I work with people from a variety of backgrounds who are looking to process or explore areas in their life where there is pain, relational distress, unwanted patterns or simply a desire to understand oneself more deeply.

Many of my clients have experienced the debilitating effects - mentally, emotionally and physically - of anxiety and long to find a way through it. Often my clients reach out after they have suffered a significant loss or recent transition in their life or need to process a single event trauma or series of small events that have left a lingering imprint on themselves and their relationships. Additionally, many of my clients have experienced significant challenges or dysfunction in their family of origin and are seeking to understand and reconcile how those ripple effects show up in their everyday life and relationships.

I believe in the power of journeying with my clients and offer attachment based, trauma informed and somatic oriented counseling services that are tailored to the individual. I am passionate about the important role our bodies play in telling our story and seek to find new ways with my clients to help them come home to themselves. I offer a warm, empathetic and curious approach with clients and seek to affirm and integrate my clients’ natural wisdom and inner strengths into their healing journey.

  • My therapeutic style is attachment based, trauma informed and somatic oriented. I believe in the importance of incorporating mindfulness and body awareness into the counseling process. I incorporate additional training regarding the body’s natural safety responses found in the nervous system and highlight awareness for the ways our brain is hardwired to connect us with others.

  • I believe everyone has innate spiritual qualities as part of their identity and respect how each person is unique in their beliefs. I honor my clients wishes on how, if at all, they want to incorporate faith into the counseling experience.

I am passionate about diversity and multicultural issues and believe the therapeutic space should be experienced as a safe space. I believe that every individual is valuable, imbued with inherent worth & dignity and possesses a deep need to belong and share one’s story.
